New Samsung handsets to encourage sale of old mobile phones?
03 October 2011
Consumers planning to sell their old mobile phones may be interested in one expert's comments about new devices soon to be introduced to the market.
Leigh Geary, editor of CoolSmartPhone.com, described how he is looking forward to the launch of the new Samsung tablet range and expects it to sell well.
"Handsets like the Samsung Galaxy S II have sold well," he commented, adding: "Samsung has a very strong design team and their kit is beautifully crafted."
Meanwhile, it was noted that Android handsets are set to introduce Intel chips, which will "improve fortunes at the company".
Mr Geary suggested the new technology could help Android establish itself on the mobile market in areas where it struggled in the past.
Elsewhere, technology editor at gadgetsandgizmos.org Richard Sharp recently claimed the demand for feature phones will rapidly decline over the next five years as consumers trade in old mobile phones for multi-functional handsets that can also act as computers and cameras.
